Managing stress and inflammation

I got glandular fever when I was 19, and I have been struggling for the last 5 years to get my health back. It's taken a really long time to get my health under control and manage the ongoing inflammation that it caused in my body. It's caused so many odd and seemingly unrelated symptoms. I'm putting a lot of effort into managing my stress and sleep, as well as managing my diet to reduce inflammation. I am hoping that by taking a holistic and natural approach to my health I'll be able to regain some balance and control back to my immune system.

The Essential Item For Your Home, Car And Office

Blog

There are a few things that you need to keep on hand during most hours of the day. Whether that be your phone, your wallet or even your car keys, most people routinely check their purses or pockets to make sure they are never travelling without their essential items. One item that you probably don't consider an essential but certainly should is the humble band-aid. Organic band-aids should be kept in a safe place at every location you spend a lot of time at, and here are a few reasons why they are so handy and why you need organic instead of traditional band-aids.

More Helpful Than You Probably Can Remember

It is easy to forget the number of times you get a little knick on your finger while opening a can of something, or how frustrating a blister can be once it has gone away again. You probably need band-aids a lot more than you remember because the recovery time is so quick on small injuries. The truth is that it only takes an infection in one of these cuts, scrapes or injuries to cause serious damage, and an organic band-aid is the best and quickest solution to all your minor bleeding injuries.  They are also especially useful in hard-to-reach areas that might struggle to hold a regular bandage, like your fingers, toes or one of the joints such as your knee or ankle.

Not Just For You

While you may think that you would be able to handle a small cut on your own without the need for a band-aid, and you would probably be right, they are not just there for you. Being a courteous host or a helpful friend or colleague means having a few basic emergency items in your proximity at all times. If a friend or their child accidentally scrapes their knee, you can't very well ask them to hold a paper towel on them while you search for a band-aid. By keeping a few organic band-aids in your pantry, glovebox or desk at work, you make sure you are ready for these unfortunate events and demonstrate your care for your friends.

Why Organic?

While in the past you might be able to get away with traditional band-aids, what many people didn't know was that it was quite common to have an allergic reaction to the sticky substance used as adhesive on these band-aids. The reaction was not often that big, but it was enough to cause discomfort, whereas organic band-aids are hypoallergenic, which means they don't carry that same risk. Once again, it is just about being courteous to those who might need them.
